Mishpat is God’s restorative justice – making wrong things right, making other people’s problems our own.

Mishpat is God’s heart for us, our relationships, and the world. We’re learning that mishpat is biblical, kingdom-oriented, motivated by love and mercy, and finally, that mishpat must be practical and context-driven. Below are some resources to help you grow in this journey.

Ideas of ways to get involved in the Sullivan community:

Building 1225 is a large community building in the heart of Sullivan, Illinois. It is home to several non-profits and events for the Sullivan community, including AMP4:12 Youth Mentoring, REP Parent Resources, and more.

Building 1225 also houses Second Chance Fitness, a gym thats mission is to inspire true mental, spiritual and physical growth through physical fitness.

Sullivan Supply Group is a Facebook community group for members to donate items to the schools as requested by teachers and school staff. Contact Jamie Crosier for ways to donate.

We have Year-Round Community Outreaches, with opportunities to appreciate teachers in multiple school districts, to clean the streets of Sullivan, to provide hope to seniors, and so much more in Central IL. Contact Jane Williams for ways to volunteer!
