AND HOW WILL THEY KNOW UNLESS YOU TELL THEM
WEATHER REPORT: Did you feel the wind change? Did you hear the waters rise? If you haven’t, tune your ears. There is a sizeable shift in the atmosphere. If the outpouring is on the water, what is coming on the winds? Revival winds. Prepare.“Obedience - Surrender - RISK.”

“Obedience is winning. Surrender is necessary. RISK is your next step. If we can do it on our own, it doesn’t require the miraculous. Create dependency on God by taking risks with Him,” Mike Yoder shared with compassion and inspiration as the Urbana Staff gathered for our monthly all staff meeting.
Personal Breakthrough: We' love to see God intersect and change people’s lives. We have an ongoing dybamic relationship with a God who speaks and that with him nothing is impossible. The supernatural is an integrated part of our normal lives and one of many signs of Christian maturity.
Corporate Leading: We expect the supernatural leading of the Holy Spirit corporately. We will develop and plan with excellence while retaining an expectation that God will direct and change our plans and be flkexible to do so as He leads. When God is leading, we follow regardless of what may be interrupted but that process. Supernatural Breakthrough takes focus off ourselves. It requires God to move beyond our own ability. It points to Jesus; signs and wonders should point to God and put us in awe of Him. It puts God in His rightful place. Supernatural Breakthrough breaks down barriers, unbelief, hopelessness, and dissappointment. Mike urged us to not narrowly view this value through a specific lens but that is is many different things. Provision, healing, relational, reconciliation — marriages, friendships, workplace, calling. These are the everyday encounters that create everyday disciples.
“The Shed” makes its evangelistic debut.

“Oh! The Spirit of God is on you.” As Evangelism Pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, CA made eye contact with a young college student in 2017, he began to prophesy, marking words of a coming revival on her campus. Her life would be “marked by prayer, evangelism, and worship. Prayer, evangelism, and worship. Prayer, evangelism, and worship.” He repeated the phrase and the phrase repeated throughout Dayle Mueller’s time as a student in TVC College. And now, as the director, the call remains. Old flames mixed with new wind make no place on campus “fireproof".” Including a shed. Located between party spots, cover charges, and empty drinks, there sits a “Vineyard” ready to serve brand new wine.
Several college girls opened their garage called “The Shed” this last week for prayer, worship, and. (you guessed it), evangelism. From Halloween costumer attendees and random walk-bys to the obedient yes to invite people in, Brianna Hernandez was in awe as hand after hand raised to give their lives to Jesus for the first and final time. 12 in their own backyard, and another 8 out on Green St. “The harvest is ready, time to work.”
We know these are some of the first fruits of this move. We gather around TVC College in this time not just with encouraging words but with deep intercession as we look at the multi-national field, praying “Jesus, we ask for a revival in the lives of the students of the University of Illinois. We ask for nations to be dreawn to these “Holy People.” Jesus, make your presence known in every lecture hall, dorm, and shed. On the quad, in the State Farm Center, in Memorial Stadium, in the Shed, and in TVC College as it is in Heaven. Revival on Campus.”
I am saying “Yes!” to the call of evangelism.
Evangelism is not a personality trait. Evangelism is not relegated to the select few “outgoing folks.” Evangelism is a call for every believer.
Mark 16:15-17
15 “And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refused to believe will be condemned. 17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe.”
Cassie and Joanna led the staff through a beautiful time of repentance and acceptance of this invitation to and tell others about this very “good news.” The scales are tipping and the lost are looking. The hopeless are asking for hope and you have it. You have it because you have Jesus, the very Gospel living in you. You have the courage because you carry the encourager in you by the Holy Spirit. So go. Share. Se.. The dam is broken, and the harvest is ready.
